We are a family run business with over 20 years experience within the oak framing industry and pride ourselves on the quality and finish of all our oak frame kits. Our garages, garden rooms, porches and oak trusses frame kits are bespoke hand-made, to the highest quality using ancient methods with traditional mortise and tenon joints along with pre-drilled dowel holes. Included within your oak frame kit are all the required fixings, from the relevant number of oak dowels to the correct number of bolts. Alongside the fixing kit will be sent of numbered drawings that correspond to the joints numbered on the actual frame, ensuring the installation of your desired kit can be completed as easily as possible. Our Craftsmen 

Our craftsmen are specialist carpenters in using oak timber and have vast experience in producing high quality oak structures using ancient methods with traditional mortise and tenon joints whilst the structure is fixed using oak dowels.

All our frames are handmade therefore every piece of oak is cut and crafted by our skilled craftsmen. From proven construction techniques gained from many years experience within the oak framing industry ensures every green oak frame kit manufactured performs far better over time.

 

What is supplied?

Every oak frame kit, Garage, Garden Room, Porch or Truss we manufacture and deliver will come complete with pre drilled dowell holes and each joint being clearly numbered along with all fixings required to assemble the frame. Depending on the frame the fixing kit will consist of all the relevant oak dowells, nuts, bolts and threaded bar required to install the oak frame. If we are supplying any glazed frames, the oak frame will include the outer air dried oak capping to install our encapsulated glazing system, including all oak plugs and compreband (if required).

Delivery

The delivery of your oak frame kit will be delivered by lorry depending on the size of the project. Once the frame is in production we will give an expected delivery date, we will contact you direct when the oak frame has left our yard to keep you updated to when the frame will be delivered. We have the ability to deliver throughout the UK mainland ensuring our frames can be delivered to you direct to your site.

Environmental Policy

Timber is one of the most sustainable building materials available. With its stability and its natural qualities this also makes green oak one of the most beautiful. 

During growth, trees absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This remains within the timber until it is either burned or returns to the natural cycle. This actively reduces the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which in turn is a natural contributor to the environment that we cannot ignore.

Oak buildings (if taken care of) can last hundreds of years compared to the 30+ years of growth makes green oak invaluable, durable and extremely sustainable.
